The South Girls Volleyball team went undefeated both Friday and Saturday to win the Bellflower/Gahr Tournament. The Spartans won their pool Friday by going 3-0 with wins over CAMS, Chatsworth, and Lynwood. After sweeping St. Joseph’s in the quarters and West in the semis, South swept Chadwick in the finals to win the title and improve to 16-3 overall on the year. The Spartans open league play this week vs West and Wiseburn DaVinci.
