We are excited to share some great upgrades this summer to our athletic facilities!

The stadium scoreboard got a much needed upgrade with a new Daktronics LED scoreboard. This replaces the previous scoreboard that still used individual lightbulbs and was no longer viewable during day games (and not very well at night either since so many fixtures were broken). The new scoreboard comes with a new controller, upgraded electrical work and new support beams.

Across from the stadium, the Pavilion weight room received a makeover. 9 new fitness machines replace the outdated equipment from 2009. Those machines are supplemented with 2 new free-weight racks and 2 new adjustable benches. This room gives a nice secondary option to our recently remodeled weight room off the main gym.

Our most recent upgrade comes to the main gym – with a brand new paint and gym floor refinishing. The SHS Spartan Helmet logo replaces the old block “S” that was chipping away, and a classy grey stain replaces the fading keys on the court.
