Pioneer League Champion South Swim was well represented at the CIF-SS Prelims and Finals on May 6th and 8th at Mt. San Antonio College.

The Girls 4×100 Free Relay team of Kayla Sun, Mary Grace Gerlach, Clara Gerlach, and Kayla Thompson brought home 3rd place, as did Adriel Sun in the 100yd Breaststroke.  Adriel also secured 5th in the 200IM.

Thompson also finished 4th in the 100yd Backstroke and 9th in the 100yd Butterfly, with her backstroke time qualifying for the CIF State Meet.

To round out the CIF-SS Finals meet, the Girls 4×50 relay team finished 5th, Kayla Sun finished 7th in the 100yd Freestyle and won the consolation final in the 100yd Butterfly.  The Boys 4x50yd Medley Relay team also won the consolation final.

At the CIF State Meet, Kayla Thompson finished 18th overall in the 100yd Backstroke with a time of 56.94.
